Covid-19 Policy Please Read Before Your Appointment
We are really looking forward to welcoming you back to square and we can’t wait to see you in the salon, we really want to keep things as normal as possible but also as safe as possible for you and all our team members, as many of you know we have high hygiene standards in the salon anyway but there will be a few changes to the way we do things when we return. we appreciate your understanding and if you have any questions please just ask.
Before you come to the salon
Booking your appointment
to minimise the number of people in the salon and to reduce contact you will not be able to come to the salon without an appointment or to book an appointment. We will be taking bookings through our online booking system or over the phone, although please be aware as we are reducing staff you will be asked to leave a message and we will return calls at the start and end of each working day.
We may contact you before your appointment to arrange a consultation over the phone or video call.
Covid 19 questionaire
We will require your email address to ask you to fill in a covid 19 questionnaire (we are currently working on this system so please bear with us)
Arriving for your appointment
Please call us as soon as possible to cancel your appointment and do not attend the salon if you have symptoms of covid 19 or live with some one who has symptoms, or if you or anyone in your household is told to isolate.
We would kindly ask that you arrive on time and alone for your appointment, please do not be early or late as we will be unable to accommodate this with the current restrictions. There will be no waiting area and you may be asked to wait outside.
Please wait outside until we call you in, this will allow us to make sure no one crosses each other in the door way.
Please limit the belongings you have with you, leave jackets and bags in your car.
We will not be able to take your coat from you when you arrive.
You will be asked to sanitise your hands as soon as you enter the salon
You will be required to wear a mask during your appointment please bring your own, if you forget we will have masks available to purchase. Unfortunately we will not be able to allow you into the salon without a mask.
During your appointment
We will be maintaining social distancing from you and each other so you will be only in close contact with your stylist. we may look a little different as we now have uniforms and ppe.
We would also ask that we social distance as much as is possible so we’d really like to limit face to face contact so we’ll stand behind you and use the mirror for your consultation rather than sit in front of you as we usually do.
We will also need to avoid conversation whilst we are working close to your face.
We will not be able to make any changes to your appointment that we have not previously discussed as your appointment will be booked for exactly the right amount of time.
Refreshments will be limited just water available in disposable cups and there will be no magazines. Please do not bring food or drink to the salon.
When moving around the salon please follow the tape and maintain social distancing.
Please do not touch products you do not intend to buy.
Our testers will not be available at this time
Please do not touch surfaces or door handles unless needed.
Some of our services will be unavailable/altered as they are not practical at the moment we will tell you if this affects you.
