Spring is upon us and it’s time to update your style, texture is back in a big way as you’ll see! Here is our pick of the best men’s hair cuts for Spring.
- Textured Crop
The hair cut that works for pretty much all hair types and is perfect for Spring as there is still a bit of length to it so it’s not Summer short, but still sharp enough to look cool and all you need is to run a bit of label.men max wax through to keep it looking great.
2. Textured Fringe
This cut is a variation of the textured crop just with shorter sides and back, and a longer fringe towards to the front with lots of texture. Slightly more difficult to manage if your hair tends to stick up at the front, but still easily maintainable with a bit of label.men grooming cream scrunched through to show off the texture.
3. Textured Top
This hair cut is very similar to the last with it’s short sides and longer length on the top, however the difference here is that thickness and hair movement are being used to create the texture, the top is also longer through out not just on the fringe. The best way to style this hair cut is with label.men thickening tonic, spray it in to wet hair and then scrunch it as it dries to create movement within the thickness.
4. The Fade
This style has been around for some time and seems to be becoming a classic, maybe update it a little by by adding texture to the top with label.m matt paste.
Now the shows have finished for another season we thought we would put our absolute favourite hair looks from across all the big four fashion weeks New York, London, Milan and Paris in one place. We will be prepared with all our hair looks for Autumn/Winter 17/18.
A common theme running throughout the shows was the centre part, perfectly clean and crisp every time. The best way to achieve this is to use a pin tail comb and put the parting in when the hair is wet and then dry your hair in to place making sure the part remains.
The look we most want to recreate is the wavy textured pony tails we saw at burberry, perfect for Summer as well as Autumn/Winter, and definitely one you can recreate your self with a sea salt spray and texturisier.
Second to that was the super natural waves at Fendi. Easy to recreate quickly in the morning before work. Sea salt spray is going to be our must have product for this season!
We loved the braids at Antonio Beradi, messy and textured we might pinch this one for summer too! (sea salt spray again!)
So we’ll be all sea salt spray, waves, braids and pony tails next time you see us!
As Paris Fashion week gets under way we thought we’d take a look at the most wearable hair styles from Milan fashion week. There was a strong continuation of the pony tail, seen at a few shows both sleek and messy but our favourite was the textured pony tails at Burberry styled by Sam Mcknight, definitely one we can work out how to do ourselves and it looks great for both smart and casual.
Another favourite look of ours was the loose waves seen at Fendi, again styled by Sam Mcknight these waves look effortless and a follow on from the air drying trend we expect to see this Spring/Summer.
With both of those looks being so natural it was nice to see a bit of bright colour at Versace. Wella global creative director Josh Wood added strands of vibrant colour to the models hair making it just that bit more exciting and adding a bit of brightness to an otherwise natural looking style.
The best thing about all these looks is they can all be adapted for Spring/Summer so if you can’t wait till Autumn/Winter it’s fine just start now!
